Who hasn't experienced the cosy feeling you get when you enter a room with natural materials? All our senses are involved in this process of perception. The eye takes in the warm colour of the wood, we can also run our hands over the soft and warm surface and the nose also comes into play with some furniture and can smell the wood.
Thanks to its special aesthetic, wood has a positive influence on people's well-being and contributes to an atmosphere of relaxation and well-being.
Living rooms and bedrooms in our homes should be free from harmful substances. Most of our solid wood furniture is untreated and can therefore breathe through its open pores, which is favourable in that wooden surfaces can contribute to a more pleasant indoor climate. Wood can regulate the humidity of a room by absorbing and releasing moisture.
For some furniture, such as dining tables, we recommend treating the surface with an oil that contains vegetable oils and natural resins and therefore does not emit any harmful substances.
Wood is the most renewable raw material on our planet. The overall ecological balance for solid wood furniture is positive. Due to its high quality and durable design, you will be able to enjoy your furniture for many years to come. Should minor damage occur to the surface due to carelessness, this can be easily repaired by yourself or by a furniture specialist.
Fair trade relations are also a priority for our company; we visit many of our furniture manufacturers regularly and they are family-run.
As far as possible, we only use natural materials such as wood, metal, glass and fabrics in our shop. We try to avoid plastics as far as possible, which is not possible in some areas such as the protective cover segment or the polyrattan furniture rail. We therefore take particular care to ensure that these plastics are high-quality recyclable plastics with a long service life.
